Summary

Maria Palermo, Esq., General Counsel for the Cincinnati Bar Association, and Kristen Myers, Esq., current chair of the CBA’s Grievance Committee discuss the attorney discipline process in Ohio and the work of the certified grievance committee. Gov. Bar R. V grants the grievance committee the authority to investigate allegations of misconduct or mental illness of an attorney licensed in Ohio. The committee investigates those inquiries or complaints which appear to allege a violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct.
