Session 1
The Current Landscape of Police Community Relations and Use of Force
The panel of speakers will engage in a discussion about the current policies governing police use of force in the City of Dayton.  The hope is that attendees leave this presentation with a firm understanding about the interactions between police and the community and the requisite guidelines that govern the amount of force to be used by police during those interactions.

The panel is comprised of Common Pleas and Federal Judges, each of whom has a varied career and represents on one or more areas of diversity.  Their representation on the bench provides some tangible proof of meaningful change in our profession.  Our profession benefits greatly when those in power reflect the diverse representation we see in our society.
