Summary

In this One-Hour (1.0) General CLE course, Jared Correia, Red Cave Law Firm Consulting, explores the public discourse around artificial intelligence. It’s all anybody seems to want to talk about and this applies to attorneys, too. Lawyers are interested in artificial intelligence, not only due to intellectual curiosity, which is why the general public is so engaged – but, also because attorneys can use AI as a business tool. Not only that – but, it may be a staggeringly effective business tool, if used correctly. But, if you’re like most lawyers, you’ve probably got questions how you should use AI in your law firm, and what sort of ramifications it might have, around things like pricing legal services, client engagement, research and drafting, legal ethics, and more. During this high-level presentation, we’ll address the 10 most important things about artificial intelligence, as it relates to the practice of law. If you’ve got questions about how AI will
influence the legal field, don’t miss this program – because we’ve got answers. Topics to be addressed include (1) general and legal-specific software applications; (2) use cases for AI in law practice; (3) challenges of using AI in a law firm environment; and (4) the impact of AI in traditional law practices.
